This week’s update – the final version of NavPay beta, the Uquid card relaunch, and a limited batch of NavPi’s.
Final Testing Of NavPay Beta
The final version of NavPay Beta has been released, and bug fixing has begun with mainly minor enhancements yet to be implemented. We are also putting the finishing touches on the assets and registration for the iOS App Store, and aim to be approved and ready for public launch before christmas.
Uquid Debit Card Relaunching – Along With Nav Coin Support
Uquid’s debit card is relaunching and Nav Coin will be one of the coins on their service. Uquid is a reloadable card service, connecting bitcoin and alt coins to everyday online shoppers. Uquid currently lists over 90 coins on their virtual and plastic card services, including Nav Coin. More info here:

The Nav Team Is Moving House
Due our latest team expansion and talk of more to come on the horizon, we decided it was time to move into a bigger space where we can work together more functionally as a team. We will now be based in the new Generator Building in the GRID AKL sector of Wynyard Quarter, the innovation hub of Auckland. We look forward to the networking opportunities this building has to offer, and enjoying the new space we’ll have.
New NavPi Release 1.0.4
With the upcoming release of NavPi’s for Christmas, we’ve also released a new image for those building their own NavPi. This version includes a way to make it easy for NavPi users to clear out any orphaned stakes that get stuck.
Users on version 1.0.3, and those with the auto-update feature can get this fix by using the “update ui” option in the control panel. This then pulls the latest version from GitHub, and means you don’t need to re-flash your NavPi – making it much easier!
Update From The Marketing Team
With the full marketing team starting 2 weeks ago, members of the community were keen to hear how things had been progressing. We’ve posted this update on our /r/NavCoin subreddit – so check it out see what the team is working on.
Last week the Auckland team (with a special guest appearance by Alex) went for a photoshoot in our new headquarters at Generator (hence the big ‘G’). We’ll mainly be using these photos for media & PR, but here’s a little sample:
We’re also starting a section of the weekly report to include a selection of news & updates from the community, so that you can see some of what our members have been getting up to.
This week we saw a user in Cordoba, Argentina making his own Nav stickers, and running a street marketing campaign.
Community Shout Out
We’d also like to make a special shout out to community member YaBoiBeezy – who’s been going above and beyond with how much effort he’s putting into the community. He’s been helping out with the Binance listing fund, pulling data for research, and emailing exchange after exchange to get NAV listed. What a champ! So don’t forget to send him a virtual high five as a thanks for all the effort.
That’s all for this week! Talk soon.
